By accessing or using Jupu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users including buyers, sellers, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Jupu. Raffle participation is restricted to persons aged 18 and over in compliance with the UK Gambling Act 2005. You must complete identity verification (KYC) to access full platform features.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One account per person

4. E-commerce Terms
All purchases are subject to buyer protection. Sellers must accurately describe items. Payments are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Disputes are resolved through our dispute resolution process.
5. Raffle Terms
Raffle participation is a form of gambling regulated under the UK Gambling Act 2005. By entering a raffle, you confirm you are 18 or older. Draws are conducted using Random.org for provably fair results. All raffle entries are final and non-refundable.
6. Auction Terms
Bids are binding commitments. The highest bidder at auction close wins. Our 2-minute extension rule applies: if a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, the auction extends by 2 minutes. Winning bidders must complete payment within 24 hours.
7. Fees
Jupu charges platform fees on transactions: 5% plus £0.30 for e-commerce sales, 7.5% plus £0.30 for auction wins, and 5% for raffle prizes. These fees are deducted from the seller or prize pot, not the buyer. There are no listing fees. Payment processing fees are handled by Stripe.
8. Dispute Resolution
Disputes should first be raised through our in-app resolution system. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to our support team. UK users may also refer disputes to an approved alternative dispute resolution entity.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jupu acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by UK law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
